Tigers by Will

Tigers are awesome and very cool
but watch out, they can drool.
Although they can be vicious, cruel, or mean,
they always take bathes to keep themselves clean.

Fall by Ayesha

The colorful lit leaves fly with the wind.
They gracefully lay on the ground after their journey.
The trees stay stiff and tall.
They boldly stand to protect their habitat.
The wavy tall grass hides living things.
The grass sways with the wind.
Sun reflects.
The waterfall provides water.
It crashes soothingly beneath our bodies.
Fall is a season, it may be a way of life in an animal's opinion.
Listen to the world around you.
You'll find something interesting.

Friends or Enemies by Noah and Crosse

The Dallas cowboys season came crashing down after losing to the Minnesota Vikings in the divisional round, 34-3. Dallasquarter back Tony Romo was harassed by Vikings defenders all afternoon and couldn’t convert when it counted most. Is Tony tough , would Butterball and Zeus stand no chance against the almighty Number 4!!! If you want to find out more go to this web site www.fanhouse.com

My Family is Big by Anna

My family is big
I’m in the middle and get bossed around
My brothers can be cruel and leave me out
My parents are awesome they buy me cool things
My sister is thrilling fun to be around
My family is big
Wish it were smaller but there are some advantages
Never have to worry about people to play with when I’m bored
Grandparents get bigger presents for us to share
My family is big but it might be great!

Days Are Passing by Julia

Days are passing by and by
But you’re still not here
I’ve been countn’ down the days until you come
The image of your face is fading
Fading quickly
I remember only half of you
Your voice is not clear to me anymore
Days Are Passing
COME HOME!!!!!

Basketball by Julia

Running, guarding, passing
Shooting, rebounding, dribbling
The basketball is a kangaroo
Bouncing down the court
Fans sitting in the stands
Cheering for there team.
Bounce bounce… shoot a goal

Swindle by Brandi

I am reading an awesome book called Swindle by Gordon Korman! Griffin and Ben are best friends. Ben calls Griffin, "the man with the plan." Ben and Griffin stayed in a haunted house. The haunted house had a baseball card in it. Griffin found it and it was worth one million dollars but he didn't know that. Another man did and he ripped Griffin off. Griffin tries to steal the baseball card back. Will he get it back? If you want to find out, read Swindle. You won't regret it!

Summer by Tasia

At the beach having fun in the
summertime.

I see people drinking tangy
smooth orange juice.

The ocean calm and still.

I can see fish swimming at the bottom
of the ocean.

Clouds misty and shaped like cartoon characters

A beautiful island covered with sand.

Kids building sand castles.

Grown-up’s tanning their bodies.

Everybody having fun floating
and swimming in the ocean.

Sharks swimming in the deepest
part of the ocean.

Types of Fossils
By Molly, Will, Adrian, Dalton, and C.J.

Hey you fossil finders! Here are some facts about the fossils at the Falls of Ohio. Corals are mostly found in the limestone at the falls. Trilobytes are extinct creatures that look like horseshoe crabs. Three examples that can be 3-D fossils are: shells, trilobytes, and other living organisms. Corals are very common in the Falls of Ohio. Corals can be hundreds of different colors however, you can’t tell what color the coral fossils once were.
Here are some important definitions: Corals are colorful sea creatures that look like plants but they are animals. Trilobytes are small ocean creatures. 3-D fossils are copies of bones that stick out of the ground. If you’d like to learn more go to
